Hey, guess what? I'm in college. Yes, you read that one right. So far, it's been great. Here's what happened for the past months *whhheeww flashback whheeww*
The section-ing thing was quite messed up. I belonged in the last section because of my family name. Thanks, dad. I was quite skeptical about my section since everyone seemed so... intimidating. Well, I was lucky enough to have Flavia and Angela as my classmates, though.
The first few weeks were um... okay. We wore civilian clothing the whole time. A major crisis was repeating your clothes (now I know that feeling of having "nothing to wear"). Thank God for Assumption shirts. Thumbs up for our couple shirts a.k.a tribe/ class/ AC shirts.
I take it back. The first few weeks were AWESOME. Our teachers would be spotted nowhere which called for movie-watching, card-playing, music-sharing, hair-braiding and yes, napping. The only down-side is having 4-7 pm classes. WHY, UNIVERSE?! WHY?!
Of course, we had our college acquaintance party. I had fun. Really. I went home around 9:30. That's actually a plus because my original plan was to go home around 8.
We were fortunate enough to be part of the hip-hop family. Yaaas Salbakuta yaaaaas!!!! We won, FYI.
Ever since we first stepped into the wonderful world of Cafe Libro, we fell in love. It has become our study (more like ugh conversation) spot. They have the best and , not to mention, affordable frappes. Let's not forget their waffles, burritos and Korean everything. The owners are pretty nice too. And guess what? Wi-fi.
Say hello to Vincent and Ercel. They're my phone ivaders.
This is BSN 1-D. My not-so-intimidating section. We took this picture on the day we first wore our uniforms Ohhh so pure and immaculate.
We had our Nursing fun days. It's like Intramurals. I joined the "Lip syncing" event. It's like a mini playfest... but you have to lip-sync the whole time. Well, we have a shortage on boys so woop-de-doo. Male role, again. I promise you, this will be the last.
We also had the University Hinampang. It was a huge event. Kind of like PRISAA within the campus. There were a lot of games.
I joined badminton. Surprise surprise! It was held in Citi Sports. I asked Flavia and Ercel to come with me. They regretted nothing. They dubbed that day as "the most sulit day ever". I must admit, it was indeed sulit.
Yaaay for new friends!
This night was probably one of the most cringe-worthy nights I've ever had. Science camp. Okay first of all, it wasn't even a real camp. Second, what the heck was that?! I found it pointless. Sorry, not so sorry. Well, thank goodness for friends and food, right?
One of the most challenging projects we've had in the first semester was the speech choir. We had to memorize the piece in less than a week and took half a-day to do the blocking and the actions. Our piece was the Desiderata. We were actually pretty okay. We placed third. Yay.
College is when your teacher looks like one of your classmates. Also, college is when you learn to love 7 pm classes and be grateful for the people in that building (hi manong sa lab! Thank you for accepting our foggy test tubes!)
7 pm classes call for sitting down, whining about going home late, taking selfies and chatting about your horror / lab stories (pun intended). Also, 7 pm classes call for hallways being used as the runway. Slaaaaay!
Oooy! May chemistry! #LabStory
Let's just hope college would be as exciting as high-school. See you when I see you!
